Depending on the battery manufacturer (e.g. Bosch or BMZ), there are generally problems in production. The bearings are still empty by the pandemic. In some cases, batteries have also been manufactured in Ukraine. In particular, BMZ should therefore have very problems.

It can take time.

Yes, try to find out which battery you need and research yourself a little, e.g. for a short time at the producer, or whether or not anyone else has a bearing.
Sometimes it is easy to order and wait for the next best, because there is no time to search.

I had to wait about 6 weeks. The workshop can’t do anything. The delivery times of the manufacturers are just as long.

Probably the workshop does not have a battery at the warehouse and the wholesaler/importer. So keep waiting.

Maybe the battery has to be ordered and there are delays.

Why don’t you just call and ask why this takes so long?

Then you know the reason for the delay.

The workshop certainly has no interest in keeping you unnecessarily long.

Yeah, you know why.

The workshop can’t do anything, and they don’t bother you.
