Fahrrad Rahmengröße durch Sattel ausgleichen?
Hallo. Ich möchte ein Citybike für den Alltagsgebrauch und gelegentliche Touren kaufen. Ich habe beim Händler meines Vertrauens einige Fahrräder ausprobiert und Rahmenhöhe 53 cm passte sehr gut (bin 1,67 groß). Nun ist das Rad in dieser Größe leider nicht in der gewünschten Farbe vorhanden und auch nicht beim Hersteller bestellbar, evtl. in der nächsten Lieferung dabei aber das ist ungewiss. Ich bin jetzt am überlegen, stattdessen das Rad mit 50 cm Rahmenhöhe zu nehmen, denn das war noch vor Ort und 3cm ist ja kein großer Unterschied. Leider konnte ich nirgends Informationen dazu finden, um wie viele cm man den Sattel noch verstellen kann, aber ich vermute eben, dass ich den Sattel auch einfach beim 50er-Rahmen 3cm höher einstellen könnte, sodass er quasi am Ende sowieso auf der gleichen Höhe ist, oder? Als ich das 53er gefahren bin war der Sattel auch ziemlich niedrig eingestellt.
Ich fahre momentan provisorisch ein klappriges 45er Rad und das kriege ich mit weit ausgefahrenem Sattel auch gerade noch so auf meine Größe.
Der Händler ist leider viel zu weit weg um nochmal hinzufahren und in der Nähe wo ich wohne führt auch niemand diese Modelle/ Marke, daher kann ich es nicht nochmal ausprobieren. Das 50er bin ich auch gefahren und das war von der Höhe her ok aber hätte noch höher sein dürfen, aber ich bin es nicht nochmal mit höher eingestelltem Sattel gefahren.
Ich bin mir nun nicht sicher ob diese 3cm wirklich unerheblich sind oder ob ich da einen Fehler machen würde. Zurückschicken wäre sehr teuer und aufwändig! Anscheinen sind die Rahmenhöhen die nicht durch 5 teilbar sind auch seltener oder so? Auf der Herstellerwebseite im Shop sind die gar nicht gelistet.

If the available saddle support is not sufficient in length, you can take an extra long saddle support. There are up to a length of 45cm and longer. What you need to pay attention to is the following: If the wheel is lower from the frame height, it is often shorter. This means that the distance between the handlebar and the saddle is shorter. Although this can be compensated in which the saddle is moved completely to the rear or, for example, the handlebar is adjusted (possibly other front structure), the frame geometry still remains smaller. This may affect your driving behavior. So before you decide to buy it, you have to try it out.
You should not buy a smaller frame than the one that was determined for you.
The length of the upper tube also changes with a small frame and thus the distance between the saddle and the handlebar. This smaller distance could be compensated for by a longer construction, among others. However, this has the result that the agility of the steering and the body template of your upper body changes with the longer advance, which in turn affects the force development of the pedaling, etc.
That’s one thing. Each change involves another unwanted change.
I can only strongly advise you to take a smaller frame.
So, I would rather make a compromise on the color than on the frame size. Especially since, as #Alterhaudegen has written, not only the height changes. And then it can be that the handlebar position no longer fits you.
So the handlebar shouldn’t be a problem I drove the 50s, that was no problem. Just the saddle height. I’m sure I don’t buy a new wheel that I don’t like visually ^^

longer seatposts can be retrofitted. That would be negotiable with a new wheel anyway.
You can probably get this 3cm out of the saddle candle (stange). Screw release and pull the saddle up.
You can also take a saddle with large feathers, such as Primus Lepper. It is unusually high and also very cozy
A 3 cm lower wheel is 3 cm shorter and the handlebar is also 3 cm lower. You might have to adjust a bit. But yes, I do.
