New starts from around 3000€.

You can find something, but older models need some care.

“I don’t want an e-bike because I find the lazy and unsportable.”

Why do you have that stupid prejudice?

I have an e-bike and therefore drive a lot more bike than before. I also see that I am physically well-acting, but not completely dispensed (so that I am about in the Cardio training area).

The advantages of an e-bike that apply to me:

  • I drive a lot more often with the bike
  • I act physically almost as much as normal wheel (normal or high engine support only at (higher) slopes), then I’m just a bit faster on the mountain. In the summer less that I don’t get so sweaty.
  • I get less sweaty at work
  • more fun
  • less lazy about cycling, often ride with the e-bike, where I would not have been riding with my old bike

I think that’s true for many who go by bike. Better e-bike as not cycling at all, you have to physically act there, too, if you don’t drink, you can’t walk a meter far. Without kicking, the engine makes nadda.

I don’t want to give you an e-bike. It’s okay if you don’t want to. But please don’t call e-Biker as lazy and importable, that’s not true.

Get back 1,000 € if you want something reasonable.

Those who want to drive Downhil and Co. should not be at the wrong end.

Because if you get some cheap box, you’ll end up in a wheelchair later because the frame breaks or the like.

At €1,000, you will find a maximum in the second-hand market, where you can’t recommend anything, because there’s hardly any overview of the entire second-hand market.

Look into the bike shops which mountain bikes are there and decide.

I don’t suggest you’re away from it with your $1,000.
