1. Free entrainment of an accompanying person: If the symbol “B” is entered in the severely disabled card, an accompanying person may travel free of charge.

2. Free use of tools: wheelchairs, other mobility aids and blind guide dogs can be taken free of charge.

3. Free movement in local transport: With the heavy-handed card and a corresponding value mark (available from the utility office) owners can travel free of charge within the local transport network. This applies to S-Bahn, regional railway, regional express, subway, tram and buses.

4. Reduced BahnCard 25: People with a severe disability can purchase the BahnCard 25 at a reduced price. The BahnCard 50 is not offered reduced.

5. Accessible travel: The Deutsche Bahn offers a mobility service that includes assistance in boarding, transferring and leaving as well as assistance in travel planning.

Read the exact conditions for the Bahncard 50 (in many situations less discount!) or try BC50 or BC25.
