New driver’s license?

Good morning,

Does anyone know if, as a new driver (I've had my license for 2 weeks), I can only have a copy of my license in the car, so if I get checked, the copy is enough or does it have to be the real thing?

The copy is just a note with a picture on it. And is as valuable in traffic control as any other sheet of paper with a pretty picture.

No, only the driver’s license is the driver’s license. This card with the glitter symbol behind the passport and the other authenticity features. That’s what you need to show the policeman when he asks you for the driver’s license.

So you can save it straight with the copy. If you don’t have your driver’s license with a control, this is an offence that costs nothing effectively with 10 €. You’ll show the driver’s license to the police station and be good.

Of course it must be the real one.

You need the real one.

But if you don’t have it and show it later, it’s only 10€, so almost no matter.

The real driver’s license has to stand in the living room on the showcase!

Honestly, bringing the original is a duty.

You have to have the flap as well as the vehicle papers in the original. In fact, you learn something like this in the driving school

see paragraph 2

the certificate and Perso directly after the test.

Not should, but must

if you haven’t received the real one yet, the certificate of examination and the identity card is sufficient.

otherwise it must always be the real lead. otherwise you have a shot B directly at check.

the certificate of examination

No, it’s not enough. It must be at least the preliminary driving permit.

No is not enough, but it is recommended by lawyers not to have his driving licence

This can be quite advantageous. If you run drunk with a driver’s license, the driver’s license will be taken in. If you’re drunk without a driver’s license, well, there’s no driver’s license.

Nene, that can be quite advantageous.

Let’s say you worked very long, you’re tired, lightly glazed eyes. Or you tend to have more and more open pupils (all that is medically possible)

If you’re stopped by the police and they suspect that you’ve consumed drugs, they’ll be allowed to take the license right away. Even if you’re innocent, you can pass weeks/months, you’re gonna get him back. You can’t drive in that time!

If you don’t have the driver’s license, they can only involve him if the suspicion has confirmed or this is ordered by the judge.

In addition, it can also be that the police seized him provisionally, that court then says that he is not moved in and he is returned. In such a situation, you never have to give your driver’s license if you didn’t have it. And if you had him, he’s gone for a few weeks to the court decision.

Later, right. But not immediately. And that’s an advantage.

Compared to the 10€ you pay if you don’t take it, it’s worth it.

No, no house search. The court decides that he is withdrawn, then he is released.

So you can drive a few weeks further.

then I guess you’ll have to give him up later.

If you don’t have the driver’s license, you can continue driving until a court has decided that it will be withdrawn.

Then the lobe is picked up directly at your home as part of a search. Now you can choose what you find more fun
