New driver question about gradients?

When going uphill you have the clutch at the bite point and your other foot on the brake. And when you want to drive off you simply let go of the brake and the car rolls away. Today there was one point where even though I had the clutch at the bite point and then let go of the brake the car rolled backwards. To get around this I had to accelerate at the same time. Is it different for every incline? For some it's enough to just have the clutch at the bite point and the car rolls forwards when you let go of the brake. But on other inclines you also have to accelerate so that it doesn't roll backwards? Or did I do something wrong?
And do you have any tips? Because it was difficult for me to do everything at once and one after the other. Clutch at the biting point, release the brake, and then immediately accelerate. Is there an easier way?

Of course, you need to give more gas, the steeper the slope. And let the clutch grip a little more

At slopes you drive with the hand brake if the car does not yet have a Hill Holder function.

Let the coupling move further carefully. At the latest when the engine starts to “stutter” gas.

I don’t know how old you are, but I’ve been driving for a long time, I’ve got to get in the handle on the mountain, don’t need advice

Because you say what’s wrong.

Why should I?

The foot’s on the accelerator! At the mountain, the handbrake is approached! So give light gas, let the clutch come slowly and release the hand brake.

From a certain gradient and weight of the vehicle a challenge is quite. The worst thing I had was 13% climb in a narrow town with a 4.5t camper. And behind me, light-sensed motorists were very close.

This is how you learn that unfortunately no longer with the hand brake!

Of course. All new cars are automatic and do not roll back. But that wasn’t his question.

you only learn with clutch so it was with me and not all are automatic

Comes a) on the car and b) on the slopes…

…yes for beginners it may be more difficult…

…but you have to get off the brake right on the gas without letting the engine lift…

…the modern cars are “holding” but actually all (no immediate rollback)…
