Nein. Statistik und psychologische Diagnostik (Testverfahren entwickeln, auswerten usw.) muss man verstehen. Da gibt es nichts zum auswendig lernen. Auch die biologischen Inhalte sollte man unbedingt verstehen. Es würde ewig dauern diese Masse an Stoff einfach auswendig zu lernen, ohne es zu kapieren. Dasselbe gilt für die Allgemeine und die klinische Psychologie.
Im Psychologiestudium muss man auch Hausarbeiten und Seminararbeiten schreiben, Fach,-und Projektpräsentationen halten, ein Forschungsprojekt erarbeiten usw. Das geht nicht mit auswendig lernen.
Aber ja, die Grundlagenfächer in Psychologie sind sehr theoretisch und lernintensiv, da viel Lernstoff vermittelt wird. Man kommt also nicht drum herum sich viel Wissen in kurzer Zeit anzueignen-man-sollte es aber wie gesagt auch wirklich verstehen, sonst kommt man im Beruf später nicht weit.

Mein damaliger BWL Lehrer sagte einmal: “Mit auswendig lernen, wird nichts verstanden.” Er wollte, dass wir anwenden können, was wir da lernen, statt einfach stumpf Wort für Wort wiedergeben zu können, wir mussten von Anfang an wie jemand denken, der ein Unternehmen führt, nicht wie jemand, der dort Produkte bezieht.

Stumpfes Auswendiglernen reicht in der Schule.
Aber nicht im Studium.
Allein schon für die Mathe-/Statistik-Klausuren in Wirtschaft- und Psychologie-Studiengängen muss man den Stoff richtig verstanden haben, um die Klausuren zu bestehen.
