Extremely thin network cable, with 4 wires?
You know thin or flat CAT cables with 8 wires.
But I'm looking for an even thinner cable.
I have a network device that only supports Fast Ethernet (it's a digital signage display that only rarely needs to upload new static image content, so 100 Mbps is perfectly sufficient).
So, a network cable with four wires would be sufficient. A cable with only four wires instead of eight could be thinner.
That would be interesting because you could hide a particularly thin cable (even thinner than the normal flat Cat cables with 8 wires) even better behind the door frame, for example.
Hence my question:
Are there particularly thin network cables with 4 wires?
Are you flattering now? Because a pair of wires is always twisted, 4-wire cables are also not flatter than 8-wire, but less wide.
Update:
There are 4-wire flat telephone cables, but they are neither twisted nor shielded, so they are very susceptible to interference.

No… but there is LWL cable… on the front and back a transceiver, and you can do the “cable” under the door frame without having to lift the door.
LWL doesn’t use me because the digital signage display also needs PoE.
Thanks for the answer!
