External hard drive not recognized on Mac?

My external hard drive (Intenso) isn't recognized on my MacBook. Everything was working fine at first, but suddenly it stopped showing up.

It works on my Windows PC, the drivers are up to date, and I've already tried formatting it with FAT32 and exFAT, but neither worked. Show external hard drives is, of course, enabled in Finder.

The hard drive lights up green when connected, so it should actually be visible…I don't know what to do anymore 🙁

Do you have any other ideas what the problem could be?
