It could be wrong, but that could be wax, which is cured when running down. Then more and more running wax came from above and so these tips formed.

Hello, Limofritz!

Perhaps it is because the colourless candle portions are segregated by the color pigments and remain as tips, while the pigments flow more into the middle.

And/or the relatively restless surface indicates a stearin that sometimes becomes blissful. Perhaps this forms other molecular chains as a “soft” wax and also these subtle structures.

Yeah, the flame creates warm circular like a fireball. This first melts the inner layer and then the outer layer. Which is the farthest away is the slowest.

I think you can imagine it like an explosion. the further away the more individual parts.
