Experiences with dual studies with children?
Is it feasible? Have you ever had experience with something like this?
Brief explanation of my situation:
I'm starting my three-year teacher training this year. I can also study part-time for four years (social pedagogy and management).
I have the opportunity to complete a degree program alongside my apprenticeship. This means I'll attend two Saturday evening lectures per month. Some of the course content will be recognized toward my degree program (social pedagogy).
There are normal school holidays, as this is a school-based program. The bachelor's thesis will take place an additional year after the program. This way, I would be financially secure in the fourth year.
Would you take the chance? Or would you do everything behind the scenes?

ich hatte es schon vor ca 25 J gemacht, als es das offiziell noch gar nicht gab. Mein damaliger Ausbildungsbetrieb (eine Bank) hatte mich für 1,5 JAhre für die Vorlesungen teilweise freigestellt und dann die Berufsschule und die Kaufmannsgehilfenprüfung, das war zwar eine doppelte Belastung, mit bis zu 15 Std. täglich, zeigte mit aber auch Praxis. Dann weiter mit dem Vollzeit-Studium.
Heute ist das minutiös aufeinander abgestimmt in getrennten Blöcken, das sit gut darstellbar.
Wenn du die Möglichkeit hast dazu, dann würde ich es ergreifen. Wenn es gar nicht klappt, dann kann man es ja auch abbrechen. Sei dir im klaren, was dann auf dich zukommen wird
Wie alt ist dein Kind also schon halbwegs Selbstständig? Hast du einen Mann der auch unterstützt oder Freunde/Familie ?
Ich denke schon das es machbar ist, aber bestimmt anstregend, je nachdem wie sehr man unterstüzt wird.

Unfortunately, the little ones' dad isn't always around. But we get along well despite the separation.
It's difficult; I don't want to put my foot in it again. But you can only tell by trying it.
