Experiences with Airbnb?

Does anyone have experience with Airbnb, especially in Spain? Do you actually get the apartment? Does it look like the pictures? How clean is it?

Thank you for all feedback in advance

I prefer hotels, but I'm already in Airbnb's experience. It always comes to those people renting, it was never really bad, but it's always a little expensive. Airbnb is not the best price, there are so many alternatives that are cheaper or even free of charge.

Airbnb is like Amazon, convenient to book, but that also costs money.

I'd keep doing Airbnb. Yes, I've had it before that a host canceled relatively short-term, but then I just booked another Airbnb, the offer is big enough, at least outside the season. I think that with Airbnbs you get a much better feeling for the resort than in a hotel. Hotels are also often much more isolated and you have to leave the hotel complex to arrive in the right life. In the Airbnb you're right in the middle. The Airbnbs in Greece where I was all well maintained.

I have not done Spain myself yet, but in some other countries. I never had problems with the apartment or the host.
read the reviews of others before, that should actually help.

I can sign. And important: research the resort! Where are the nearest shops, where are restaurants, cafes, bars!
