Experience 1.0 TSI 110 HP 3 cylinder engine built in 2018?

Hello,

I'm just about to buy a Golf 7 with 50,000km.

It has a 3 cylinder 1.0 TSI engine with 110 hp.

The performance would be enough for me since I usually only drive around 150kmh on the motorway and mostly on country roads or in the city.

Does anyone have experience with this engine/car?

3-cylinder, you don't have to say more.๐Ÿ˜’ As a sucker in the polo and co were the ne catastrophe, have usually started to swallow oil well below 100k km and there can be no talk of running culture in these sewing machines. The whole thing now in a 1.0T golf does not make the thing better, even not with charge pressure. You'll have to keep it constantly on speeds, that it's going some way forward and then it's also past me with such an air pump. I would then take the 1.5 TSI or the 1.8ee, which should be quite rare.

A VW Golf 1.4 TSI has no three-cylinder engine.

VW has more problems with the 1.2s and 1.4s TSI. From the 1.0er one hears less, but can also be due to the fact that not many have bought them.

For me, 3 cylinders belong more to a small truck (Aygo, Up!) but not to a compact car with 1.3 tons. The consumption values โ€‹โ€‹of 4.3-4.9 liters are utopian.

We have a Golf Sportsvan from 2018 as 1.0 TSI with 110 hp 6 gear. So far, he's got 37,000 miles down and we never had any problems. It's just a 3 cylinder, so it's running a bit rough in the high speed range and is generally fast on tour, but you get used to the engine sound and meanwhile I even like the sound. So I can recommend the engine to 100%.

I am highly satisfied with the 3-cylinder engine in my golf 7 year 2018 (55000 km). In practice, not to be heard. Consumption in a quiet way around 5.5 l, on the road always around 4.5 l. Suit completely sufficient. That's what all people need. I just suspect that VW is making more money with bigger burners. And people still want to "bigger, faster, more." Just wondering how long.

We had a 1.0 TSI 3 cylinder in a rental car in a T-cross. I don't know if that was exactly the same, but he had at least 110 hp. And yes, I didn't find that bad now. For a daily car you don't have huge demands, don't complain at all. The golf is unlikely to make it worse (probably better).

And soooo feels weak now. At least when you get out of the turbo hole. And that would be my criticism of the engine. Required torque is only around 2000 rpm. This is not much due to the small displacement. I mean, if you're driving, no problem. But as soon as it gets a bit more curvy and/or steeper, you are constantly on the turn. However, with a DKG, this problem should be solved.

Otherwise, my recommendation: Read trials and test reports / See tests on Youtube. And don't let yourself be insecure by the dogmatists ("VW is shit", "3 cylinders are shit", "everything under 200 hp is shit", …) but make yourself a picture.

So I drive the engine in Ibiza Fr and that goes better forward than many think in conjunction with the sports suspension makes the right fun

I don't get into this house myself, but I know the buckets.

I do not hold much of the โ€œTSIโ€ technique, just as little of inflated 3 cylinders.

Golf 7 as 3 cylinders already screams for short life.

What golf has a non-TSI engine? How do you get it out?
