Exemption from swimming lessons?

Hello, I'm in the 6th grade of upper secondary school, and we have swimming lessons this year. My problem is that I don't want to participate. This is because as a child, or in junior school, I was always laughed at because I couldn't do anything. I can swim, and I'm actually pretty good at it, but I have trouble diving without holding my nose, even though it's required. I often find myself short of breath or have mild panic attacks. I'm also really disgusted by indoor pools and all the bacteria and other stuff there.

My question now is, how do I excuse or release this?

We have an 80% attendance requirement in each subject per semester, but we only have swimming 6 times a year, so that shouldn't exceed 20%.

So how to dive doesn’t matter. a teacher can only evaluate the performance. how long or how far you dive.

Tzd you should try to train, exhale under water through the nose that gives the problem, you just have to practice

I don’t think that’s a good reason, I missed swimming lessons at the time because I had a complicated bone fracture, I was in plaster for almost 1 year.

In the end, it was stupid, because I had to catch up sometime because I was a very bad swimmer.

If it’s just so little hours, just do it.

Believe me, your thoughts are worse than the thing itself

That’s nonsense he can’t ask how you dive. Let your parents talk to the teachers. Emergency with the Directorate.

Can go to the doctor and let you report sick

Every time you’re new since you can’t let yourself be sick for the individual days this year, but usually you should be able to write up sick for up to 3 days, at least this is the case with me.

If your parents then call at school, they can just say you’re cold

Yes, but if you can’t say it quietly as you have said here, maybe they will do it without that you’re cold.
