The magic word is called “conditional formatting”. Here you can set everything possible that happens exactly what you imagine. Explaining it would take longer… can check in Excel in the help.

Hello,

the following illustration for the procedure is limited to the essential in the illustration.

You mark the cells (which are to be highlighted in color, in my play A9 to S9) where the data begins (have assumed A9).

Then on “Startconditional formatting” as in Figure 4 create rules. The 1st rule is required because Intermediate lines are without data and for the lower rows without data, otherwise everything would be red if no hooks were set.

Keep accurate to the formulas of the respective conditional formatting and text formatting for columns Q and S (starting at line 9).
