As you have already seen in the preview of everything is head 2 there are animated figures which represent emotions. These are in the head of one at the beginning of the first part I mean 12-year-old girl named Riley, who at the end of part 1/beginning part 2 then becomes 13 (so just comes into puberty). In the first part one learns that joy was the first emotion of Riley (when she was born) and then grief was added (Baby starts crying). Gradually, further emotions were added, namely anger, disgust and fear. They sit in the so-called command center and decide whether Riley reacts in a situation anxiously, anxiously, angry, cheerful etc. (of course? Because every emotion is a character). Joy was always very striving that Riley has as happy a life as possible and the most important memories (the so-called core memories) are all happy (yellow, as their color, the memories are depicted as balls). One day, however, grief accidentally touched one of these balls and it became blue, so Riley connects them with negative emotions from the time. Joy wants to prevent this, and at the same time they and grief fall into the long-term memory, which is like a labyrinth and thus they are no longer in the command center, so Riley can no longer feel joy and grief and disgust have control. An adventure begins Blabla, joy and grief create it back and they make all the core memories sad, so Riley then regrets everything (her family has moved, you don't like it, she wanted to leave and they just managed to stop Riley from leaving).

At the end of the film you can see how the command center gets a new control console aka Riley comes into puberty and is rebuilt in the brain. Then new emotions come in, and this begins part two.

Hopefully this could help you and it wasn't too long 🙂

PS: Everything's head is one of my favorite films and it's worth watching the first part even after you saw the second one

The second part logically builds on the first very much. It is highly recommended to see the first before.

the figures reflect the emotions in the head. Look at a summary on YouTube if you can’t see the movie

You’ll probably find the movie on the Internet. The best thing is to look at it before, so that you understand the 2nd part well:). When are you going to the movies?
