I just turned on my PC and suddenly had no internet connection. Then I saw that the Ethernet adapter was "not ready".

Does anyone in the community know of a tool where I can insert various executables. Then, when running the program, I can select which of the predefined executables should be installed.
I mean all data is binary. So if I look at a file and write down all the 0s and 1s on a piece of paper and pen, and then later copy and convert them into Notepad (or something else), do I still have the file on my PC? And could one theoretically also "download"…

I had that with a “patient”, because the manufacturer’s own update program (Lenovo) has installed a driver and then there were problems with the Windows update because it could not install the driver. But it didn’t happen that the network card no longer worked.
Try Stefan’s version with the driver uninstall and then let Windows reboot, normally it would have to install the right driver automatically.
Is that the motherboard network card?
Please go to the motherboard manufacturer and download the “Internet” Ethernet driver for your motherboard model.
DE-installed the old, restart the PC and then install this driver.
