You can find offers on the net sometimes.

Cycling armours you get sometimes with street license. Depending on the weight, at least the C1 licence class is required. For more than 7.5 tons the normal truck driving license.

You don’t get chain armor with street license. If at all, you can only move it on your own property.

On the picture is a SPW60 from the Russians. I drove back then. It weighs about 10 tons. Truck licence is therefore necessary. Without major modifications, you can’t get it.

But in your own garden, it’s gonna be fun if you get it running. Eratzteile for this are just short-term goods for reasons.

as a rule, the dimensions are the problem, more than 2550mm width are possible only for agricultural vehicles, self-propelled work machines or by special permission that you do not get for a tank.

Admission of chain armours is definitely no longer possible.

I know 2 wheel armours that can be registered in Germany.

The Ferret and the Saracen, even with H-marks.

Where: where one is offered. This is also sometimes the case for classifieds.

But it is quite a lot of effort. In addition to the logistics, it is also possible to obtain approvals etc. In addition, the vehicles must be demilitarized.

Driving licence: So whoever wants to drive tanks can do this for example at tank schools. You can just drive along. If you want to drive yourself, you usually need a car driving license.

On public roads, however, it is generally not possible to drive (at least for chain vehicles). I could imagine that exemptions could be implemented, but this should also be associated with quite a lot of effort and corresponding requirements.

Let’s just buy tanks and push through the city, so there’s nothing going on.

Why? With “H” license plates and various road-fitting modifications, it can be approved. What this costs and which Tasuend special permits are necessary is another question.
