Erster Motorroller/Moped ?

Hallo,

LG Leo

Moin Leo,

to the key data: You can drive with 15 and with the AM mokicks that have a maximum of 4 KW, a maximum of 50ccm and not faster than 45 km/h. And that only in Germany. Only at 16 you can jet into the EU country. Because the AM is only valid in Germany with 15.
The exception at speed form the 50ccm GDR mopeds of the Simson brand when they in the GDR were approved until 28.02.1992 (with the exception of the SR 4-3 sperber, because it was approved despite 50ccm at 75km/h). They may also be driven by 60km/h of AM drivers.

Maybe first in the circle of friends, if someone sells one. Otherwise, ask the workshops to repair two wheels. As SirAndiusNr.2 wrote, ebay is a real minefield, especially for Simson. If you don’t have anyone who knows something technical, you’ll be pulled over the table very quickly. And very important: a Simson should never be bought without valid papers.

Well, all that’s falling down. So up to 50ccm up to a maximum of 45/50/60 kmh, depending on the year and origin.

From eBay classifieds, I guess., especially if you have no idea.

The best are 1 or 2 years old used by the reputable dealer. Rollers lose a lot of value in the first year. Nevertheless, they are technically perfect.

My choice as “Ossi” would always be a Simson due to the year of construction and the given speed of 60km/h in the approval, you can also drive the 60 what the easy to create… Fun is guaranteed and optics barely to top

The top class, if not even in the luxury segment, is already priced. But it’s not supposed to be all that nice to afford 😉

Clearly the acquisition is higher and will continue to climb but also has few reasons and you can still see them as value investment.
Things rise in price, and one end is not in sight, because the advantage of allowed 60 Km/h and beauty, as well as the simple technique will remain.
you’ll get out of what you’re gonna do when you sell.
if it doesn’t give the money, it shouldn’t be. I’d at least check the idea.
Unfortunately, I can’t help with these plastic back saws because I don’t know myself, but I don’t think it’s worth boosting.

I understand. I have two S51 in the garage myself. One is my wife’s youth machine. Both self-renewed.

The 60s regulation makes these machines so attractive to AM drivers/drivers. And the dilemma begins.

  1. Beginners don’t go clashing with the oldtimers. Now, of course, you can say that it was not different in the GDR. Right. But then it wasn’t oldtimers.
  2. Beginners want to customize their machines today and there are many who make the simms up to the feeling unmistakable. ZB original protective sheets are shortened. It hurts me. Of course, this does not increase the price.
  3. As soon as the A2, A1 and/or A is in sight, the Simme gets oblivious or is retaliated and the cycle goes off for the machine of new. Probably in the same cases, the Simme remains in family possession in the long term. It is no longer planned in the long term. And there are enough sales platforms that make selling as easy as rare before.
  4. It could be that the EU introduces 60km/h for the 50ccm class. From this point in time, only the well-preserved simms are considered to be semi-stable Oldtimer. All of them will then be at cheap prices again. And I guess this will be the majority. Then the youth will probably leave the Simmen to the left and switch to more modern mokicks because the only advantage of the Simmen would then be fit.

There are also visually beautiful successors:

Do not climb below 126 cm3. Continue cycling.
