The brake pads on our 2019 C-Class were replaced.
However, the error message doesn't go away. Why is that? Does the wear sensor absolutely need to be replaced, and if so, will the error message disappear?

Der Sensor sollte immer mit erneuert, bzw. das Steuergerät zurückgesetzt werden. Klingt so, als wäre die Reparatur nicht bei MB gemacht worden oder?

Allerdings nicht, du meinst also das der Fehler im Steuergerät gelöscht werden muss? Den Sensor zu erneuern ist ja auch nicht die Schwierigkeit. Ist halt nur beim ersatzteilkauf nicht dran gedacht worden

Natürlich muss der gelöscht werden, allerdings kann der alte Sensor immer noch nen Fehlerwert auswerfen.
