Inflammation wisdom tooth surgery?

Hello,

On Tuesday I had my wisdom tooth surgery under general anesthesia every 4.

I suspect that I have an infection because, although today is the 5th day, I briefly had a high fever of 38.5 degrees for about 2 hours.

But is it also normal on the 5th day?

Apart from the fever and difficulty swallowing, I have no other symptoms. No pain anywhere, if any, when I run my tongue over the sore, but that's normal.

Can I have an inflammation even if I am not in pain? If so, how does an inflammation heal?

38.5 is not exactly “very high fever” and if it lasted “only” 2 hours, then that has not been bad any more.

No pain anywhere if I go over the Apthe with my tongue, but that’s normal.

What aphthe?

Can I have an inflammation despite no pain?

No, you’re not sure. If you had an inflammation, then surely the cheek would be swollen again and you would have tumbling pain, in which, among other things, no painkillers would help.

So – all good – and still good improvement.

Gerne – And thanks for the star :-))) what aphths are, I know that I don’t need to googlen :-)) If the aphths are very unpleasant, buy yourself at the pharmacy Kamistad. That should make the complaints better.

If it did not become noticeably better on Monday, I would visit a doctor, inflammation should not remain untreated too long.
