Exchange English money into euros – Volksbank?
Hello, unfortunately I can't find anything about this on the Volksbank website:
I still have 50 pounds from my vacation and would like to exchange them back into euros.
Does anyone know if I can just go to the Volksbank and exchange money? And, more importantly, how much, if any, will be deducted? Does anyone know?
Thank you in advance 🙂
There are hundreds of different folk banks with different service.
Whether your Volksbank accepts cash in foreign currency cannot be answered in general.
Depending on where you live, you could become a branch of Travel bank go – this is specialized in such shops. (The courses are not very cheap, but after all the money is exchanged.)
Thank you. Okay then I’ll try my bank first and otherwise go to the bank you link 🙂
You can make sure. Only notes are taken and no coins are taken. And the fees are not without. Therefore, I usually travel without cash and use only credit cards. They are much further in other countries and you have no change problems.
I pay exclusively and everywhere with cash, from candy to car 🙂 Nevertheless, thanks 😇 and good to know that they do not take coins. Thank you
Moin,
that should work without problems. You’ll be deducted depending on a service fee, but I don’t know about it. Otherwise, it simply works after the current exchange rate from GBP to EUR.
MFG Colin
Thank you. Then I’ll go right away 🙂
