Hey, I got my English exam back today and realized I wrote it in the wrong tense. The teacher gave me a mistake for every sentence where the tense was incorrect, not a subsequent one. Is she allowed to do that?

Would you say many students fail because they don't study properly or because the exams are too difficult? Studying two days in advance doesn't help, like in school.
Ja logisch darf sie das. Ihr Job ist es diese Arbeit zu korrigieren und wenn es falsch ist, ist es nunmal falsch.
Deine Lehrerin kann Folgefehler geben, muss sie aber nicht. Klausur hört sich nach Oberstufe an. Da ist es noch mehr gerechtfertigt, immer einen Fehler zu werten.
