Energy allowance – Where do I get the money from?
Hello, I have a temporary job in a small office. I work there on average once a week and therefore usually earn a little less than €200, making me minimum wage. Should my employer have paid me the €300 energy allowance at the beginning of October, or do I have to get it from the tax office with my tax return? Is it possible that my boss simply pocketed the money and didn't pass it on? What is the official term for my employment relationship? A mini-job? Thank you for your help! 🙂
I have to add, my boss has two employees, so me and a colleague. We’re both on this “minijob” basis.
§ 113 EStG entitlement
You were in an employee relationship in 2022? If so, you are entitled to the EPP
§ 117 EStG Disbursement of employees
But there is a small exception:
Is as much as:
Your AG may not have been obliged to pay the EPP, because only §115 EStG applies. The same applies if you were not in a service relationship on 01.09.2022.
§ 115 EStG Fixed with income tax charges
So submit a tax return and fill out the other facility. Ready.
Hi and thank you for your detailed answer. So my employer was not obliged to pay the EPP. Could it be theoretically possible that my employer got the money from the tax office, but it kept it?
No.
The EPP will only be given to the AG once he gives pay tax applications in the form of a discount, which he apparently does not have to do with you with 2 minijobbers.
You’ve already done it with your deleted answer.
Is the question serious?
How and where does the AG pay the flat-rate wage tax?
I also do a minijob and got it tax-free in October. Income evidence
Our Minijobber (8x) got them all together in October with their wages.
Otherwise, you’d have to get it through your tax return.
The AG of the FS has not been obliged to pay these
I’m glad you come to my answer, and now?
Read my answer again to the end!
Nevertheless, your answer “About the AG” is wrong, so the FS, and now no one, does not get the EPP.
