I have an external hard drive with files on it. Can I encrypt it later using VeraCrypt or BitLocker, for example? Or will the files be lost?

Loading...Is an NVMe SSD with the M.2 (2280) form factor compatible with the M.2 socket of the ASUS Prime B250M-A? The motherboard specifications mention 2280, but PCIe is 3.0, and the SSD has 4.0. Is that a problem? Thanks!
