Recommendations for a short break over New Year’s Eve in Austria/or Germany?

Hello everyone,

We're looking for ideas for a short break over New Year's Eve 2025. We'd like to travel with family and a few friends.

What is important to us is:

• Max. 2 hours travel time from Stuttgart to the destination

• Nice accommodation, preferably a cozy cabin with self-catering facilities

• Alternatively, a hotel or holiday home where we can enjoy ourselves as a group

• Enjoy being outdoors, with opportunities for winter activities (e.g. hiking, sledding, skiing)

Do you have any recommendations for beautiful regions, accommodations, or tips on where we could look? We're open to anything relaxed and cozy.
