Embryo confused with cyst?

Hello my dears, a friend of mine is pregnant and the doctor told her that she has a cyst on her ovary. She insisted on having a blood test. The doctor told her that if she wants a blood test she has to pay. She is now a month late. The doctor told her that she has a bit of hcg in her blood. Could it be that it is not a cyst and is an embryo? She needs to have another blood test. Has anyone else had this happen to them?

Aha – So now a friend of yours has the same “problems” as you?!?

A gynecologist does not confuse ovarian cysts with a pregnancy – even with an extrauterine avidity.

Also in men and unpregnant women, the normal value of the hCG concentration in the blood is up to 5 IU/liter.

What has been confirmed by your girlfriend if this has not been possible by ultrasound or laboratory values?

Happy for you!

That’s what I thought. Some FS think we can get rid of!

No. Of course, the embryo would not sit on the ovarian, but in the uterus. She seems to have a cyst AND to be pregnant, but what you could not see at that time.

Why should an embryo be at the ovarian and not in the uterus?

And then, hopefully, you know that this doesn’t end well when you leave the embryo.
