Email without www and with @?
Hey everyone,
I would like a business email address without www and with @.
On domain pages like Strato, etc., I can only use it without the @ symbol. But I want to use it with @ and without the "www" at the beginning. What exactly do I need to do?
Example: support@(name).de
Thank you!
An e-mail address has no www.
If you purchase a domain, www is available as access to a website (if you have a webspace). This domain is always there, but not the webspace.
In such packages you will get the domain you can use for your email (the part after the @) and also for a website. You don’t have to use that for it.
Thank you!
You’re welcome.
You can only create a business email address if you have the domain.
Example:
Domain: http://www.meinefirma.de
Mail address: support@meinefirma.de
I think you should first discuss the question of what a domain actually differs from an email address 🙂
An e-mail address consists of any name, domain and country shortcut, e.g.
NAME@DOMAIN.DE
kevin@meineseite.de
In order to use an email address, you need the right to create and manage addresses on the respective domain – this is achieved either by registering with one of the numerous mail providers and using one of the specified domains (abc@web.de, xyz@gmx.net, etc.) – or by buying yourself an available domain.
By purchasing a domain, you can usually also create a certain number of mail addresses on it. Similar to a road at Monopoly you must first own – to build your hotel on it – 🙂
In order to fulfill your wish “support@name.de”, you must first purchase the domain “name.de”.
Thank you.
When you get the domain http://www.kevinsohn.de rent, you can also rent an e-mail server that is often included, and then create corresponding e-mail addresses.
For example, “ichbin@Kevinsohn.de
So everything before the @ is then freely selectable with your domain.
All right. Thank you.
An email always starts a name for example max.mustermann@gmx.de
but never with www
at web.de goes… XXXXX@web.de
Not the question. 😉
As described in the example.
support@(Name).de
Here is your own mail desired and not one of Web, GMX, etc.
Email is not a link
However, an e-mail contains a domain that the FS asks for.
