Individual lowering inspection, what guidelines?
I know there are plenty of questions like this, but I really don't understand…
I've now installed a coilover suspension with a parts certificate, but this is no longer valid due to the different rims, wheel spacers, exhaust system, and body kit on the car. According to the parts certificate, these things must all be standard equipment.
So I have to do an individual inspection. But I don't want to have to run to the MOT multiple times, so I want to get everything right from the start!
The TÜV inspector looks at:
Ground clearance of fixed parts (in my case lowest point oil pan): at least 8cm
Ground clearance of form-elastic parts (in my case front bumper): at least 7cm
Distance between tire and wheel house or fender: at any point and in any steering position at least 6mm (?)
I know that he also twists the car at maximum steering angle.
Are the things I wrote there correct and do I need to consider anything else?
Should I even show the parts certificate to the inspector or does it not matter anyway since it has expired?
The entire reports are also absolutely necessary in case of individual acceptance. The distances are rough, where there is a lot of discretion.
You also have to bring the parts review of the rims, in which your car should be listed including the released tyre size. If this is not the case, it becomes difficult.
Just like your bodykit. Without knowing more precisely here, I can only generalize. For this, too, a partial evaluation must be present and no material evaluation must be carried out. If you only have the second one, you can tear the kit down right away, with nem material review, no one will take you in.

The rims are longer incl. Tyres registered. Is that right? I would have to look for the parts review online as I bought the car with the rims. The same applies to the bodykit. Come from Bavaria.

All entered, except for the suspension now, I only installed it today. I can restrict myself, I hope that I can do the whole thing at home without several attempts at the TÜV.
