Import VAT Alibaba?

Good morning,

I am registered as a small business owner and plan to sell goods from Alibaba.
Since the dealers are located in China, I have questions about import sales tax. If I purchase goods and the dealer first imports them to Belgium and then ships them to me, then import sales tax is essentially not due, since they come from an EU country. My goods arrive from a German address.
Is this legal or am I also committing a crime?

Then, basically, the import turnover tax is not due, as it comes from a Eu country.

Are you sure there is no EUSt?

Alibaba will take you from you as a customer if you buy something and take it off yourself. But you’ve already been charged with this one.

Is that legally permissible or do I make myself criminal?

All right. Alibaba is a kind of “intermediate” and yes, it is permissible.

Wrong. Import turnover tax will also be payable in relation to EU countries, § 1 para. 1 No. 5 UStG.

Is legally permissible

Yeah, you don’t save sales tax.

This is not an import turnover tax, but an acquisition tax = VAT on igE. 😉
