I believe in Germany there are still a few restaurants to offer the actual swan, but should be a very nice and just too blunt in taste and is definitely not comparable to goose or duck and does not taste so well in general, at least if you push through some hunter fores.

As described above, the animals would have to be fed accordingly and were not allowed to live in a dirty tulle.

The meat of a conventional swan is inedible. In order to be able to eat a swan, he would have to be fed with expensive special food and should not swim in freedom through dirty tuples. The effort is so great, the swan meat comes to the table only in the English royal house and for selected people from Cambridge.

Swan can be eaten, but only the gray young animals taste good. Older animals taste tasty and sweet.

The meat is not offered in gastronomy. But about hunters you could possibly come to meat.

Stools in Germany have fixed hunting and conservation time. In order to regulate stocks, the young animals are mainly shot and then consumed.

Personally, I don’t know a hunter who would have ever killed a swan. And I know many.

No, I have not yet, but can be consumed under conditions. The problem is, you have to find a single-swan, as the birds bind for a lifetime.

Swan was served a few years ago.
