Why do you need a breaker?

A friend of mine used to be one for years ago because he had an electrical problem. At some point he didn’t get him in the morning because the breaker was badly installed.

Therefore, I am always somewhat sceptical in such interventions.

That’s exactly what your workshop can answer. Neither do I know their hourly rate nor how much time they calculate for installation.

Instead of a battery disconnector, you can also take a pole clamp with quick release – usually works better. Even the disconnector would have to sit close to the battery under the hood.
