Acorn red?

Hello

My glans has been slightly red for the past two days. It's just a single spot, about the size of my thumb. The spot is located around the urethral opening.

I wasn't in pain most of the time. It only itched a little for a few hours. I noticed it after showering, but I don't think that's the cause. I'm careful not to let soap run over it. It certainly isn't caused by excessive friction.

I haven't noticed any other symptoms other than that I have a mild cold. That probably has nothing to do with it.

I couldn't find anything online that exactly matches what I'm seeing. Since I have to see the doctor in two weeks anyway, I'll talk to him about it then. Should I do anything beforehand, and what could it be?

Sounds like an inflammation caused by the pre-skin.

There are people who suffer from it again. A circumcision (I am a circumcision fan) would always prevent inflammation.

It’s best to let you examine your appointment. If it gets worse, you should go to the doctor first.
