Hey Kai,
Maybe this will help you:
It’s unlikely that you’re too doof for it. Rather, it could be a technical problem, or the application is not as intuitive as it could be. Here are a few possible steps for troubleshooting:
1. **User manual**: The first and easiest step would be to read in the user manual of the e-bike how the battery is correctly used and completed.
Two. **Key position**: Make sure the key is fully inserted and you turn it into the right position. Sometimes the castle needs a little “reprint” to grip properly.
3. **Check of the lock and the battery**: Check the lock and the battery. Is there any visible damage or contamination that could impede locking?
4. **Battery state**: Some locks have a kind of “safety mechanism” that prevents the battery from being removed when it is switched on. Make sure the e-bike is off when you try to remove the battery.
Five. **Contact specialist business or manufacturer**: If all these steps do not work, it would probably be best to contact the specialist or manufacturer directly. There might be a defect that needs to be professionally fixed.
6. **Online search / videos**: Sometimes there are online tutorials or forum contributions from other users who had similar problems. Maybe you’ll find a solution for your problem.
7. **Tool**: If everything else fails and you feel comfortable with it (and it does not compromise the warranty), you could try to fix the problem yourself with suitable tools. However, extreme caution is required, in particular for electrical components such as the e-bike battery.
If it’s a new e-bike and you can’t lose the battery at all, I would strongly recommend bringing the bike back to the dealer and explaining the problem. It could be a warranty case, especially if the battery or the lock is defective.
So with me you just have to press the lock without key and then the battery is secured to take off you need the key
Usually this works with one click & with one turn of the key, the battery is already closed. The only way to get rid of
Lock in & completed or otherwise turn & remove.
I have a pedelec with Bosch battery
Of course, we can help better if you respond to requests, but I’m trying to do that. With most e-bikes I know, you don’t have to close the battery extra. Especially with bikes that have included the battery in the frame, you use it and it is locked. You can’t take him out. The key is to unlock the battery.
