Find a flat route for cycling?
How can I find the flattest possible route for my bike? Is there some kind of software that lets you enter the maximum elevation gain or something similar? Ideally, one with few intersections. Background: A route of about 10 km for consistent endurance training. Also a circular route.
I don’t know anything about setting maximum altitude meters.
But some free apps like bikemap.net or Outdooractive offer route planning with information about altitude meters.
As short distances as you are looking for, you can also do in GoogleMaps, also with total altitude meters.
It’s flat around every lake or along a river.
Supplement.
Here is an example of “bikemap”: To the bird lake at destination fingen.
10.2 km with 70 Hm, that’s totally flat.
Come here. I live near the holl. border and here almost everything is flat.
If you drive along the Rhine or the Wesel-Datteln Canal, you hardly have climbs.
For this, near the Dutch border of the wind is incessant…
💨💨
It’s not on the coast. It is therefore within the framework, especially when driving through forest pieces
Jau, it’s worse on the coast. Two hours west
> Rear with wind 40 minutes
Otherwise I know the area very well > at the Lower Rhine.
Take a suitable path around a lake or along a canal.
With Google Maps you can also view the height profile of a route.
Or 25 times around the sports field. 😉
