Use eBay classifieds as an “online shop”?
Hey guys, I have a small business idea. I've just launched my own skincare products, which are really good. I want to advertise them on TikTok, and now I just need something to sell them on. I would use eBay classifieds for this, if that's legal. Do you know if I'm allowed to do that, or is it prohibited?
Thanks in advance🫶🏻
Hi, you are still minor and must therefore be declared fully operational by the family court.
It costs money and takes a lot of time. The questions at the school, according to opinions, and the youth office, examines whether home is all right and you can lead a company from a health situation.
After that, you can register your business, etc., and do business with people.
Consider it a lot. For example, if you sell an item for 20€, you will only have the 10-12€ in the end.
You also need to be registered as a commercial seller for classifieds, so everyone can see your full name and address online.
You are also obliged to issue invoices for sales. At the end of a financial year, you will create a tax return for the tax office.
And with certainty, the stuff complies with the rules, is labeled according to these etc.

So:
You are 14 years, you want to earn desperately money, even without a commercial license and how I appreciate it even without knowing the legal regulations and therefore duties for manufacturers.
Conclusion:
You’re coming in the devil’s kitchen.
You are according to your own details 14, then for your commercial activity, you have certainly already obtained permission from your parents and the consent of the court of guardianship, or, and then, a trade registered.
That’s it.
So my parents have a commercial license, (he has nothing to do with the sale of cosmetic products) can they also be used for my purpose?
No, because then DEINE ELTERN would have to run the business. Her name, her account, her risk, her taxes.
Theory and practice… then just log in to the court and ask for permission… then see how it is.
But theoretically, it would have to work because I would also have registered a new business. That would have been the name of my parents. Because most of this would be done together. And because I’m 14 I’m not supposed to be a business.
Oh, dear.
If you use classified ads as a commercial user, and also pay corresponding funds, this is not a problem.
Commercial Suppliers
No, I wouldn’t have
Don’t get around if you don’t want to be locked.
You also need a trade if you want to trade.
If you do this without a trade, this is an offence and costs at least 150 €.
In addition, this is forwarded to the tax office, which then come to you and say: “Good day. We have learned that you have been acting commercially since and when. We appreciate you earning €20,000 in the time. Please pay the income tax for this.”
And then you’re a few thousand euros. Depending on how long you’re working without a trade, there’s also a good fine on the top.
To register a trade, you must be at least 18 years old.
Unless you receive the authorization of your legal representatives (usually parents) and the permission of the family court.
Of course you need this one.
But it’s quite unlikely that you’ll get this… because the family court doesn’t just win through the stuff.
Okay, thanks for the info, then I do it commercially via ebay classifieds. So I’m gonna need another business?
If you have a business, you can do it, of course. eBay reports it to the tax office!
Those who sell less than 30 articles on a platform within one year and thus implement less than 2,000 euros will not be reported.
You can’t just sell mixed cosmetics yourself. It must first be examined whether it meets the requirements. It’s not that easy to earn money. The business has already written the others
If you’re using eBay commercially, don’t have a problem, prefer Shopify, there are more possibilities.
Thanks for the tip, but shopify costs something, right?
Believe 36€ per month, you could then decide according to sales
