Ebay – What if someone makes me a price suggestion but offers discounts for orders above a certain value?

Suppose someone makes me a price offer on eBay with a 10% discount, but the seller already offers a discount for orders above a certain value, for example 20% discount, do I then get a total of 30% discount on the item, or does only the higher discount count in this case, i.e. 20%?

There are no fixed requirements as to how this needs to be handled or should. Ebay doesn’t get involved.

Both are conceivable. The seller offers a cumulative discount, i.e. you would get 30% on this item, or you will receive “only” once the highest discount resulting from your purchase value.

The seller may have deposited something in his AGB. If not, you need to contact him because only he can answer this question.

Your description is contradictory!

You write:

Suppose someone on eBay makes a price suggestion with 10% discount….

Then you’re the seller of the goods.

will I get 30% discount on the item as a whole?

The buyer receives the discount – not the seller.
