Ebay buyer complains?

Hello I sold a guitar on Ebay

well packaged and shipped.

The buyer claims that the goods arrived in a defective condition, which was actually not defective.

Maybe it got damaged during shipping.

Do I have to take care of this now? Or does the seller have to go to logistics and report the case?

please provide helpful answers

Tjoa – there are always arm lights. It may be useful to take photos beforehand: guitar and packaging. And if the buyer thinks he’s going to have to make a lawyer, I’d really get it. Whether the buyer turns to Ebay is his decision. I’d stay out of here. And then it finally depends on whether a judge believes me or the liar.

He should contact the delivery service. You didn’t write what happened. Transport damage shall be promptly contested. I think you packaged the part safely.

Tzja, since the buyer has buyer protection on any purchase at ebay, he only has to report a different condition to ebay, and now guess how eBay behaves….

If you inform yourself about ebay at TrustPilot, you will notice that the private seller has been quite bad opportunities at Ebay for about a year.

Apart from that, Ebay hasn’t been reputable enough for me as a customer since then, and that’s why I haven’t been shopping there since.

Without guarantee and withdrawal, the buyer has had bad luck.
