Easyjet flight?

The following: we booked a return flight for 2 people together

Person 1 cannot take the outbound flight, rebooking is not possible at the moment (for only 1 person) because the flight was booked together

The outbound flight will then be automatically rebooked for both

Is it allowed or is there anything against it if person 1 books a new separate outbound flight?
So you have 2 tickets for the outbound flight and one return flight

One-way flight costs for a new ticket: 80€

Rebooking costs total 75€

makes no difference

It is generally allowed that person 1 booked a new, separate flight if it cannot arrive at the originally booked flight and a rebooking is not possible. As long as Person 1 starts the originally booked return flight as planned and no additional costs arise for the airline, there should be no problem. However, it is always advisable to contact the airline directly and to clarify this in order to ensure that there are no unexpected problems.

Thank you for your nice answer.
If one of the persons has to skip or skip a day before departure (sickness, accident, marital dispute) and you can no longer rebook or cancel, but the other person flies alone, then you have to pay any penalty fees? So if you travel alone with two people?!

No, don’t talk. The return flights are automatically cancelled at No-Show. This will be the only problem.

Person will then just have to buy a new ticket, his purchased flight will expire simply. Person 2 can fly
