E60 530d 2003?
Hello! I'm about to get a 2003 E60 530d (automatic) and wanted to ask for your opinion and what I should look for in this car before buying it. The car has leather sports seats, a sunroof, and great features. The price is €7,500 with a fresh sticker and service.
Km: 150,000
What do you all mean?
The car has two diseases. Keep in mind the tightness of the headlights and the brake lines are happy to rot. Often, the brake lines can be brought to burst in the car. Let the motor run (due to brake booster) and stand a hearted step on the brake pedal, similar to panic braking and hold for a few seconds. If the brake line is attacked, the pressure on the brake pedal after 1 to 5 seconds and you have caused the line to burst. You don’t need to have any consciences, so the line must stop.
I would also make sure that the hood and wings are made of aluminium, a magnet adheres to the parts they can no longer be original and have been cheaply replaced. This is at least one alarm signal
I got a BMW E61 525i Touring from 2009, automatic, panoramic roof, black leather with almost full equipment and also 150,000 km, 2nd hand, for EUR 12,000.
So you find 7500€ is a good price?
It’s not a bargain!
The car was almost 20 years old and only 150,000 km. Appears to me at the age and the fact that it is a diesel, extremely little.
