When I stand at the back of the car, I see that the right wheel arch is narrower than the left. Is that normal? Is it the same for you?

Vorausgesetzt, die Reifen sind gleich groß, sollte der Radlauf die selben Abstände haben links wie rechts.
Denkbar ist, dass dort mal eine Blechreparatur durchgeführt wurde, die dann (weil nicht so ganz fachgerecht…) einen anderen Verlauf dieser Partie zur Folge hat.
Der Wagen ist da letzten lackiert worden , habe mal den Lackierer dann darauf angesprochen und er meinte das wäre normal wegen dem tankdeckel das der da dann anders angesetzt ist

ich hätte eher auf Reparaturbleche getippt, wo sich jemand im Modell versehen hat oder diese etwas ungeschickt da rein geklempnert hat…
Bei einigen Modellen (nicht E 46) gibt es bei BMW tatsächlich bei den vorderen Kotflügeln andere Radlauf-Maße je nach Baujahr – aber dann natürlich links + rechts gleich. Würde nur auffallen, wenn man EINEN tauscht und dann den falschen kauft.
Aber das Phänomen bei Deinem Auto kannte ich bislang nicht.
Entweder sind reparaturbleche verbaut, oder es war mal ne bastelbude die nicht richtig zurück gebaut wurde
