If you have the option to log in with another device – so I mean PC or laptop then I would try.

Otherwise, if you had already registered your phone number in your e-mail account and requesting an SMS security confirmation, then I would do it – only if you really get an SMS (without which you have to enter your number new so freshly again on this request) you will actually have it coming from the provider where you have really deposited your phone number.

However, that sounds like new land and fraud for me. You have to prove who you are, of course, already know – that you get a code per sms or you have to answer the 2 questions correctly. (For identification)

So if there’s a window on the floor at once: please enter your phone number (due to SMS): Please enter your ID card number blablabla……… please enter your date of birth…. I find all this too strange.

Everyone could say he was you and forgot the access data. So they have to secure themselves. (I assume that you mean “the” ones you created the account.)
