E Bike Tour?

Moin. Hat jemand eine lange Tour (+300km) mit dem E Bike gemacht? Wie plant man sowas am besten? Und vor allem wo kann man das E Bike unterwegs laden?

I was just about 480 km in northern Germany. Depending on the (forgive)wind I have for my daily stages of approx. 68-78 km between 15 and 40% of my battery used (Trekkingbike with Yahaha Motor and 500 Wh battery).

So there were no problems with electricity on the way. So I could recharge at night with my accommodations.

There is also a charging app for e-bikes where accessible outlets are listed. If you eat or drink something on the go, the host will certainly not deny you a short reload.

I planned with Komoot and drove some longer distances at home, so I could assess fitness and power consumption with as little support as possible.

Depends on where you want to stay. In a hotel this should be unproblematic, as there are sockets in the rooms.

Unfortunately, you must always take the charger with too many different plugs and voltages installed.

What kind of tour do you want to do? I see a lot of “mountain bike” in the themed list. With e-mountain bikes I don’t have much experience, but a little with unmotirized mounties.

There is a lot of literature for longer MTB tours such as a Transalp. And it would surprise me if at least Mofas were not taken into account in this or at least in separate literature. ULP or Bruckmann are publishers, where you can find something.

Normally, you should be able to drive everything you can with an e-bike, even with a normal bike. Only during mountain biking should one avoid all types of carrying passages with an e-bike, especially those exposed. However, these are usually given as such in the literature. Like the route from the Fuorcla del Gal to the Passo Trela, where you have to carry the bike over washed-out, quite lush passages, I would rather not do with a heavy e-bike. Against this background and in the current situation (in the last few weeks there has been a lot of rainfall in the Alpine area) the current conditions should definitely be met (e.g. in mountain guide offices in the target region).

Many loading options are displayed on this card.

After that you can plan your route. Take charger is a must anyway. I used to call Replacement battery, that was possible with 80km each with 2 batteries.
