Dwarf rabbit protection in the run at night?

Since rabbits should be given 24-hour access, I have a question: Do I need to put a roof over the run? For example, my hutch is connected to the outdoor run, so the hutch is inside the run. If the rabbits are outside at night, do I need to put a roof over it? Do you understand what I mean?

If they should stay in there overnight, the enclosure must be properly secured from all six sides, i.e. soil, sides and of course from above. Hot with very narrow-mesh volierenwire and the floor, if necessary, with stone slabs or concrete. Otherwise, you can’t leave them in there at night or during the day if you’re not sitting there all the time. UAnd even then, there would still be a risk of fress enemies being faster than you can watch and react, and yes, there are everywhere and yes they are running around during the day and especially in the dawn and at night.

Chicken

So we have a lot of rabbits on work and a lot of birds (cres, falcon etc.) we have more often lying dead rabbits around. So a shelter makes sense 🙈

Love greetings and all good 🍀

Either way, shelter is a very good idea, because of enemies etc. And the outlet should also be secured from below.

I’ve already sent you the page on your previous question. YES, cradles must be secured from all sides.

If you want to protect the rabbits from feasts, you should do that.

Yeah, you have to. During the day too, martens and birds are VERY fast
