During an earthquake in a body of water?
Given the current situation in Turkey/Syria, I wondered what would happen if I were in a pool/ocean/lake, etc., during an earthquake. Would I notice/feel the earthquake?

Roughly speaking, the larger the body of water and the farther you are from the coast (and the epicenter), the less likely you are to notice much of the quake. Tsunamis only occur in shallow coastal waters.
In a pool: You'll definitely notice it. The water sloshes back and forth like crazy.
Sea: There are corresponding waves
Sea: There could be a tsunami. That wouldn't be a good thing. Not if you're near the coast.
