Can my friends briefly visit/use my hotel?
Hi, I've booked a hotel room with my girlfriend. We'll be waiting in line for a concert with other friends. Would the other friends theoretically be allowed to briefly enter my room with me (two of them), for example, to use the restroom, etc.? However, they won't be staying there overnight.
Of course you can also visit his hotel room, which is of course natural.
Although this is not intended for the night in the hotel room, it is quite common for tourists or larger cities with concerts and is usually tolerated at no extra cost.
Only free breakfast is of course not possible, but if you have to register at the reception and pay the normal breakfast package per person.
the overnight stay of unchecked persons in the room is certainly not tolerated, how do you imagine 4 people in a 1.80 wide double bed?
But for the third in a double bed it’s quite fit.
And for singles or single friends who are vacationing in Mallorca or Ibiza, which is relatively normal. But also in Germany after a HipHop concert.
Toilets and washing facilities are also available in hotels in the lobby. So no plausible reason for your friends to find your room.
It is different if you have booked a suite (which I doubt very much).
I always book suites because I can invite conference partners there and, if necessary, let them host the room service. Depending on the suite size and hotel for 8-12 people absolutely no problem.
Let’s use the toilet for a second. Depending on how often misuse and unrest are organised in a hotel, the operator can impose access restrictions. And good hotels also have a toilet in the lobby.
You should announce this at the reception
If the hotel regulation says that no visitors are allowed to stay in the room.
Visiting or visiting WC is basically no problem 👍
