?I can't eat enough because of medication, how can I avoid the yo-yo effect?

Hello, I've been taking an antidepressant for a few months now which "curbs" my hunger and I've already lost 20 kg as a result (not really consciously). I was 30 kg overweight but now I'm worried that I'll get this stupid starvation mode because I really can't manage to eat more than 1000-1200 calories 🙁 I've already bought protein powder so that I can at least drink calories… I don't want to get the yo-yo effect but I really can't stop taking the medication 🙁 does anyone know what I can do?

If you had 30 kg overweight, it’s only 10 kg. So I would be more than happy to get a nice slim figure in your place.

In order to keep a really slim figure, you do not need more than 1500 calories, more of course you are an athlete. So it’s not much more calories than you eat now. And that should be possible, especially with special things that really taste you.

A cup of ice alone has about 500 calories.

Okay, that’s the same thing. But you have the cycle problems because of the lost 20 kg. It takes a time for the body to turn it on. If I can advise you, use the medicine to get the rest of the bacon down and talk to your doctor. There are many ADs, and a change is not a problem. May I ask you personally how the AD is?

I guess I can understand. Need them, too. I’ll take Sertralin. But if you are really good, you should reduce anyway. Slowly. So not to half. However, you can also expect a positive effect by losing your weight alone. Weight plays a big role as you feel. With 1.80 you have to have lean legs for so long, of which others can only dream.

I’m sure you get out with less ADs, just because of the high weight loss. Otherwise, as said, a conversation with your doctor is of course essential.
