Ducati Monster won't start?

Hello everyone,

As the title says, my Duc won't start anymore. It's a Monster 696.

Actually, everything was fine. Yesterday I installed a throttle (gas restrictor) and replaced the air filter. I had to remove the tank for the latter. Then I put everything back together and started it up; that worked, too.

It stood overnight and when I tried to turn it on today, it didn't work.

All you hear is a whirring and clattering. A colleague told me it's the fuel pump and starter; I don't know much about motorcycles yet 😀

According to the cockpit, the battery is at 11.9V.

What could be wrong? It just started up…

Thanks in advance.

Whether the starter turns, or whether the battery is too weak, you hear. Looks like the lambs.

According to cockpit lie on the battery 11,9V

When? During the start?

This would be an indication to detect the battery charging state.

11,9V is almost too little. Put the battery on

You really think? Mine had only 12 volts at the time, and there were never start problems….

Exactly 12v or more? Usually it should be a bit more

Oh, God, don’t nail me on it now. That was 12, something I mean… does that make such differences? That would be completely new to me…. But you never learn.
