Your printer, the Canon MG3650s, creates problems with connection via Bluetooth, and the device is also not recognized on the network. Despite the instructions in the instructions that tell that the Bluetooth button must be pressed until it flashes, this does not seem to work with your printer.
One possible reason for this problem could be that the printer might not even support a Bluetooth function. The Canon MG3650s is primarily known for using WLAN connections and not Bluetooth. Therefore, it could be a misunderstanding of the available connection possibilities of the printer.
To connect the printer to your network, it would be useful to go through the WLAN setup process again. Make sure you put the printer in the right Wi-Fi mode and insert your Wi-Fi password correctly. Usually the WLAN display flashes when the printer tries to connect to a network.
Another step could be to use the Canon Print app or the software supplied with the printer. These programs often lead you through the setup process and can help identify and troubleshoot possible connection problems.
If you still have problems connecting the printer to your network, it might be helpful to reset the printer to the factory settings. This step ensures that no previous network settings or errors affect the connection. You can find the exact steps for this in the manual or on the Canon website.
If all this does not lead to success, there could be a technical problem. In this case, it would be advisable to contact the customer support of Canon or to send the device back if it is still under warranty. A technical defect or a problem with the printer’s network component could be the cause, and the manufacturer can best help you.
Your approach to pressing the Bluetooth button could therefore be misleading as the printer is primarily designed for WLAN connections. Rechecking the connection settings and using the Canon software should help solve the problem.
If all this doesn’t help and the printer still doesn’t work, it might be useful to turn to Canon’s customer service or send the device back if it’s defective.
