Pressure on right ear?
Hi, I became ill last Wednesday and a week ago (Friday) I suddenly had this pressure in my right ear. I've had an ear rinse etc. (also at the ENT doctor's on Monday) but that didn't help. I also used AudiSpray the Saturday before, but it didn't do anything, so it can't be something wrong with the ear canal. I went back to the doctor yesterday and got more medication because I've had a terrible, dry cough for the last couple of nights. Today I'm actually feeling much better, but the pressure on my ear is still there. Swallowing doesn't work either. I've tried forcing air into my nose, chewing, drinking, etc., and the pressure is still there 🙁 I don't have any pain in my ear either, just a throbbing that I hear when it goes quiet. I just want this pressure to go away, because it's obviously really annoying, as my hearing is also impaired because of it. The ENT doctor told me on Monday that it should go away after 1-2 days, but on Wednesday it was still there. I assumed it was because of the cold (my nose is clear, by the way), which is why I haven't been back. I don't want to hear answers like it will go away on its own. For some people it's there for weeks, and I obviously don't want that. Does anyone have any idea what it could be? What I could do? It's also the weekend, which is why the ENT doctor is obviously closed… As I said, it can't be the auditory canal, because that's where Everything is clear and my nose isn't blocked. I don't have any pain either, just this pounding in my ear when it's quiet.
Thanks in advance🙏
Infects, these can migrate through the nose – Rachenraun into the ears With the improvement of the other symptoms, it could also improve.
